Job Description
Location: Margam, Port Talbot
Salary Range: £55k to £60K depending on experience.
Pertemps is currently hiring an SHEQ Advisor for our client, the largest supplier of industrial gases and related equipment in the UK.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure that the site can demonstrate full compliance with the requirements of the Safety Management Systems.
- Ensure that the site continues to comply with ISO9001-2000 Quality requirements and adopts a philosophy of continuous improvement.
- Ensure that the site can demonstrate full compliance with all relevant Safety and Environmental legislation, including COMAH, IPPC, etc.
- iv. Develop and maintain a progressive approach to Risk Control Management on site, including coordination of the Risk Assessment program.
- Develop and encourage a positive Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental culture on site, ensuring widespread participation in these areas.
- These objectives apply not only to the core site at Margam, but apply equally to the numerous satellite sites under the branch control.
Key Qualifications and experience:
- Formal, and externally recognised Health and Safety qualification e.g. NEBOSH Diploma Part 1. (Minimum NEBOSH Certificate)
- Thorough knowledge of UK Health & Safety Legislation
- Knowledge of Environmental Legislation.
- Experienced in the requirements of the gases industry.
- Comprehensive practical knowledge of operations
