CNC Setter/Operator

Position: CNC Setter/Operator

Location: Wolverhampton

Work Hours: Monday to Thursday 7am - 4pm, Friday 7am-1pm

Hourly Wage: £13.50 - £15ph

Overview: Our esteemed client, a specialist in manufacturing fasteners, is currently seeking an experienced CNC Setter/Operator to join their dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Set and operate Doosan Fanuc 0i controlled CNC lathes.
- Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to all company procedures and health & safety legislation.
- Experience with Fanuc controls (essential).
- Operate 2 Axis Lathes (experience setting and operating milling machines is advantageous).
- Use Bar Fed and Chucking Lathes.
- Inspect products using gauges and measuring equipment.
- Fit and bore soft jaws.
- Change tips and adjust offsets.
- Read engineering drawings.
- Perform basic machine maintenance.
- Load parts and de-burr components.
- Experience with fasteners is preferred.
- Keen eye for detail.
