Our client, a prestigious company based in Central London, is seeking a talented Accounts Assistant to join their team. As an integral member of the finance department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of financial processes.
 
Your responsibilities as the Accounts Assistant will include:
  • Conducting bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
  • Managing supplier payments efficiently and accurately.
  • Overseeing junior staff to manage credit card/staff expense reconciliations.
  • Setting up payment runs.
  • Administering payroll processes with precision and timeliness.
  • Monitoring and managing the Accounts inboxes, ensuring prompt response and resolution of queries.
  • Taking part in ad hoc finance related projects and providing cover for the finance tam when required.
  • Assisting with the transition of the accounting systems.
 
To be considered for the role of Accounts Assistant, you will require:
  • Proven experience in accounts payable and payroll administration.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated capacity to anticipate challenges proactively, maintaining a proactive stance and offering pre-emptive solutions.
