Here at Pertemps Network Catering we are seeking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Assistant to join our clients in a school team aound Kings Heath area.


 This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen environment and takes pride in maintaining cleanliness, organization, and efficiency. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will support our team in preparing and serving food, ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly. Perm placement is possible after an initial trial.

Kitchen Assistant Responsibilities:

•   Assist with basic food preparation, including washing, peeling, and chopping ingredients.
• Keep the kitchen and dining areas clean and organized, following all health and safety regulations.
• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment, ensuring cleanliness standards are met.
• Help with serving food and refilling supplies as needed.
• Ensure that food storage areas are clean and well-organized.
• Support the kitchen team with any other duties as needed to maintain smooth kitchen operations.

Kitchen Assistant Requirements:

• Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is a plus but not essential.
• Knowledge of food hygiene and safety practices is preferred.
• Ability to work efficiently, both independently and as part of a team.
• Good time-management skills and attention to detail.
• Friendly and approachable attitude, with a commitment to excellent service.
