Test & Inspection Engineer

Pertemps are excited to be working with a leading provider of specialist services who are recruiting for a Test & Inspection Engineer to cover the Southampton area. 
This is a full-time permanent role and is fully field base in the Southampton and surrounding areas. 

Responsibilities: 
-    Conduct comprehensive Electrical installation condition reports in commercial and industrial environments. 
-    Inspect and test electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, switchgear and control equipment.
-    Identify and document defects, non compliance and potential safety hazards.
-    Ensure all inspections are carried out in accordance with relevant standards and regulations. 
-    Ensure all inspection tools and equipment are maintained and calibrated as required. 
-    Communicate effectively with clients to explain findings, answer questions and provide technical advice. 

Requirements: 
-    A minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical inspection or related field 
-    City & Guilds 2391-52 or equivalent in Inspection and Testing
-    NVQ Level 3 
-    18th Edition 
-    In depth knowledge of BS 7671, IET Wiring regulations and other relevant standards and codes 
-    Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
-    Valid UK Driving licence 

The Role: 
-    Salary of £34,000 + Bonus 
-    OTE £45,000 - £55,000 
-    Fully expensed company van 
-    Monday to Friday 
-    Additional Night work avilalbe and an increased rate 
-    Full time permanent salary
