Freight Import Operator

Are you a Road Freight Import Operator? Would you be looking at a new challenge? We are recruiting for a reputable company based in West Bromwich. If you don't have road we would still like to hear from you.

The main duties will be:

•  
• You will be dealing Road Freight- FTL / PTL / Groupage
• To run IT and ES import operations
• Dealing with road and import process start to finish.
• Liaising with hauliers, negotiating rates, preparing quotations
• Handling documentation including commercial invoices, DGN
• Dealing with trade lanes covering all of Europe.

The successful candidate will have the following skills:

• The ability to build strong relationships with clients.
• Excellent communication skills
• A good standard of educations
• A strong work ethic and an enthusiastic nature.
• The ability to work on their own initiative as well as part of a thriving team is essential.

If you have the following skills it would be an advantage but not mandatory.
" Customs systems: CDS, NCTS, Sequoia, Destin8, CNS and GMR
" Wide range of entries including Home Use, IPR, OPR
" Working with Commodity Codes / Incoterms
" Raising IDR documents for import shipments.
