Receptionist and Office Assistant – Mining Company
Mayfair
up to £35,000 plus bonus
Core hours: 9am - 6pm
 
London Headquartered mining company with operations in Kazakhstan and North Macedonia are seeking a switched on and high energy all-rounder to join their team as a Receptionist and Office Assistant. The company, based in Mayfair, has 20 people in their London office.
 
You will help the team with all manner of things – office management, admin, travel bookings, events etc and you will constantly be liaising with all employees, visitors, and guests. There is plenty of scope to take on additional projects as and when you prove yourself.
 
To be successful in this role you will have an enthusiastic attitude, be proactive and be able to use your own initiative to solve problems. The role will best suit someone who has had 1-2 years exposure to office management through front of house or administration experience.
 
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Managing meeting room diaries
  • Welcoming guests; both in person and on the phone; answering and directing inquiries
  • Communicating with the landlord
  • Managing all office vendors (catering, suppliers, snacks, coffee, water, etc.)
  • Acting as the Fire Safety Coordinator and be responsible for First aid
  • Organising and distributing post, packages, and other correspondence
  • Preparing and updating documents and company presentations (printing, binding etc.)
  • Working with IT to manage Corporate documentation ensuring accurate record keeping
  • Coordinating travel arrangements for the Corporate Office team and external visitors
  • Employee record keeping and other HR related admin as and when required
  • Assist finance with invoicing, credit cards and employee expenses
  • Managing and coordinating Corporate office functions, planning for special events, lunches, dinners, group tours and arrangements for out of country visitors
  • Owning facilities related matters including safety procedures, ensuring maintenance and servicing of office equipment and appliances.
 
£35k, good bonuses and package
