Job Description
Location: Basildon, SS15 6RZ (Office-based, no remote work available)
Salary: £24,000 - £26,000 per year
Hours: 05:00 - 13:30 (with 1 hour for lunch)
We are looking for a dedicated and reliable individual to join our fast-paced transport team. This is a temp-perm position, and you'll be responsible for supporting the smooth running of our daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting driver briefings (huddle sessions)
- Managing transport documentation and ensuring accuracy
- Handling driver inquiries and problem-solving on the spot
- Coordinating with carriers for effective operations
- Responding to internal inquiries regarding transport
- General transport administration tasks
Experience Required:
- Previous experience in multi-drop transport is essential
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
