Job Description

As a Records & Retention Office you will be responsible for overseeing the management, organization, and compliance of electronic and paper-based records. You will help develop retention policies, ensure adherence to data regulations, and educate staff on effective records management.

What you’ll be doing as a Records & Retention Officer
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulatory requirements, including OFWAT, Freedom of Information, and the Data Protection Act (GDPR)
  • Oversee the management of electronic and paper-based records at Thames Water, ensuring compliance with agreed data retention standards
  • Develop new records management standards
  • Educate staff on effective records management
  • Establish and manage Thames Water’s record management system
Base Location: Reading - Hybrid
Working Pattern: 36 Hours
