Payroll Specialist

As a Payroll specialist you will be supporting the day-to-day processing of the clients payroll service, ensuring that the service is delivered in an efficient, accurate and timely manner, along with a strong focus on delivering a high quality service. The payroll specialist is a key component in ensuring that all employees are paid accurately and on time


Candidate(s) must have a full UK driving licence due to the location

Location:
Rugby, Crick

As a Payroll Specialist you will work:
Monday - Friday 09:00-17:00 we can also offer part time work

As a Payroll Specialist you will be paid:
£12.00-£13.70phr

As a Payroll Specialist duties will include:

• Manually entering payroll information into payroll system
• Entering payroll information using the appropriate SSL loading feature within the ADP GV payroll system. Calculate pay manually as and when required. Investigate overpayments, zero pay queries as arise each pay period prior to final processing of payroll, minimising potential errors, supporting team in ensuring correct payments to colleagues are made
• Updating employee payroll records suchas P45, new starters, tax, NIC Data and any other relevant employee changes
• Prepare statement of earnings
• Calculation, communication, and processing of same day [TT] payments
• Identify, investigate and resolve both current, and historic, pay discrepancies. Accurately calculate and process over and underpayments, initiating communication with sites and colleagues and where appropriate agree and manage repayment plans. Monitor repayment plans, existing and ex colleagues, activating escalation process where required
