We are recruiting for motivated qualified social worker to join our busy team. This role is with one of the UK’s highest performing local authorities, serving as one of the best places to live and work in.
 
This is a qualified role requiring you to be SWE registered and have relevant experience within children’s services.
 
Southampton, working alongside the ICB are planning to recommission a range of voluntary sector contracts which all have a theme around Early Intervention & Prevention.
 
This temporary post will work with the Senior Commissioner and colleagues to lead on the re-commissioning work. The individual will be able to evidence recent commissioning experience in relation to the voluntary sector which may include  infrastructure/capacity building, service redesign, prevention, codesign/coproduction and project management. The post will initially be for 3 months although potential for extension beyond this.
 
Working with the Senior Commissioner to re-commission a range of voluntary sector contracts in relation to Early Intervention & Prevention.
 
The role will be full time although open to flexible working arrangements. Partly home based, partly based in the Civic Centre in Southampton.
