Join Our Sales Team as an Internal Sales advisor – Builder’s Merchant
Are you a motivated, sales-driven professional with a passion for the construction and building industry? We're looking for a results-oriented Internal Sales advisor to join our fast-paced team at a leading builder’s merchant!
What You’ll Do:
- Actively drive sales by generating quotes, processing orders, and upselling building materials, tools, and supplies to contractors, builders, and trade professionals as internal sales advisor.
- Proactively follow up on leads, identify customer needs, and offer tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with existing and new customers to maximise sales opportunities.
- Manage customer inquiries efficiently, offering expert product advice and ensuring a seamless sales experience.
- Meet and exceed sales targets, contributing to the overall growth of the business as a internal sales advisor.
- A strong sales background with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets (experience in the building industry is a plus).
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and close sales.
- A good understanding of building materials, tools, and supplies (or the eagerness to learn quickly).
- A proactive, goal-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering results.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple customer requests and sales leads.
