The Role
We’re looking for a motivated and knowledgeable Business Teacher to join a secondary school in Birmingham from January 2026. This long-term supply role involves teaching Business across KS3 and KS4, with a focus on BTEC Level 1/2 content, including enterprise, marketing, finance, and business development.
You’ll deliver structured, engaging lessons, prepare learners for coursework and assessments, and contribute to a supportive department committed to high standards. This is a great opportunity to join a school that values vocational learning and real-world application.
The Candidate
You should be a confident and adaptable teacher with a passion for business education. We’re looking for someone who is:
- A qualified teacher with QTS (applications from ECTs welcome)
- Experienced in teaching BTEC Business Level 1/2
- Skilled in planning and delivering interactive, industry-relevant lessons
- Confident managing behaviour and supporting learners of mixed abilities
- Organised, enthusiastic, and committed to raising student achievement
