An exciting opportunity has arisen with a specialist childrens care provider for an experienced registered manager of a childrens home in Solihull.
A three bedded home, as Registered Manager you will be responsible for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the children, ensuring that the quality of care provided is consistent in line with Ofsted standards.
You will be responsible for;
- Ensuring that the highest standards of person-centred care and support are delivered at all times
- Building and motivating a highly skilled and engaged workforce
- Ensure that resources, including staff, are effectively deployed to optimise service delivery
- Promoting and marketing the service
The successful applicant must have:
- OFSTED Registration as a Residential Care Manager, OR significant experience working in a residential children’s care home to secure OFSTED Registration as a Residential Care Manager within 6 months of appointment
- Level 5 Diploma Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Young people’s services (or equivalent) OR commitment to successfully complete within 3 years of appointment.
- Experience of managing/leading a team within a residential Childrens home setting.
- A sound knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation, including The Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015
