Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Buyer to join our client's procurement team. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing materials, goods, and services that align with our client's commitment to sustainability and innovation. Your expertise will play a crucial part in ensuring that the supply chain operates efficiently and sustainably as the company continues to expand.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute procurement strategies that support the company's sustainability goals.
  • Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best terms for quality, cost, and delivery.
  • Manage relationships with key suppliers, ensuring compliance with ethical and environmental standards.
  • Monitor market trends, identify potential risks, and implement strategies to mitigate them.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including R&D, production, and finance, to align procurement activities with company objectives.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance.
  • Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.

Qualifications and Experience:
  • Proven experience as a Buyer or in a similar procurement role, preferably within the sustainable travel, automotive, or technology sectors.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a track record of securing favourable terms.
  • Excellent understanding of supply chain management principles.
  • Familiarity with sustainability practices and a passion for environmentally responsible business.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
