Job Description
- Position: Meter Reader Operative
- Location: Llandrindod Wells and surrounding areas
- Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday, between 8am-8pm)
- Overtime: Available on weekends (Saturday & Sunday)
- Pay Rate: £12.60 per hour
- Contract: Temporary to Permanent after 15 weeks
The role:
- Use your own vehicle (business insurance required) to travel locally. - 30.5p Mileage reimbursement per mile
- Visit pre-mapped residential locations.
- Knock on doors and inform residents you're checking their meter readings.
- Record accurate readings using a tablet or smartphone.
- Move to the next location and repeat until all assigned locations are completed.
- Full equipment and PPE supplied.
- Competitive pay and weekend overtime opportunities.
- Opportunity to secure a permanent position after 15 weeks.
What We're Looking For:
- A valid DBS check (we can assist with obtaining one if needed).
- A valid driving licence (with no more than 6 points).
- Ability to arrange business insurance for your vehicle.
- No prior experience needed-comprehensive training provided!
