Location: Merthyr
Assignment length: 3 weeks with possible extension.
Shifts: Monday to Friday 08:00 - 16:30
Pay £14.00 per hour
Job Description: As a TIG Welder, you will be responsible for welding and fabricating components to high standards. Your role will involve working with various materials, including stainless steel and aluminium, to produce precision parts for our diverse range of products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform TIG welding on stainless steel, aluminium, and other materials.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Ensure all welds meet quality and safety standards.
- Maintain welding equipment and tools.
- Collaborate with the production team to meet project deadlines.
- Conduct inspections and tests to ensure the integrity of welds.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a TIG Welder.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and precision.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Certification in welding (preferred).
