Job Description
Pay: £13.05
Hours of work: 37 Hours per week
Monday -Thursday 07:30 - 16:00
Friday 07:30 - 12:30
The successful candidate will be supporting the Parks Services Team in carrying out a wide range or Horticultural and grounds maintenance duties.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out all aspects of amenity horticulture throughout all parks and green open spaces
- Hard and Soft landscaping works
- Use of Ride-on mower and powered hand tools
- Driving duties as requested
- Follow all health and safety procedures
The successful candidate must have the following skills and experience:
- Experienced in amenity horticulture
- Experience of using pedestrian operated machinery/power tools
- Experience of outdoor manual working in all weathers.
- Knowledge of Health and Safety.
- Experience in dealing with the public.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
- To demonstrate an ability to work alone and use one's own initiative.
- Show commitment to quality service delivery.
- Hold a valid UK driving licence.
