Job Title: AutoCAD Technician
Location: Warrington (WA3 7PG)
Salary: £25,000- £30,000 (DOE)
Shifts: Monday- Friday (37.5 hour week)
Contract Type: Permanent


Our client is a service-oriented roofing and cladding contractor with many years' experience in the delivery of quality projects of all sixes for the public and private sector.

As an AutoCAD Technician, your duties will be: -

" Read and understand construction details, apply understanding to develop construction install details for use on site.
" Create high-quality detailed technical drawings and plans based on designs supplied by architects and steelwork fabricators.
" Liaise with architects and clients to understand their design requirements and provide technical advice to construction teams.
" Ensure drawings are compliant with appropriate regulations and building standards.
" Apply knowledge of materials and design principles to check feasibility of fabrication and construction of the product.
" Conduct site visits and surveys, when required.
" Present working drawings for use in all stages of the project, manufacture / construction, and installation.
" Maintain accurate records, including drawing registers.
" Liaise with both architects and clients to resolve design queries.
" Ensure that drawing approvals are met within the project deadlines.
" Identify potential problems and create solutions.
" Any other duties as required by line manager.

The successful AutoCAD Technician will have the following skills: -

" 3 years minimum AutoCAD experience.
" Excellent attention to detail.
" General construction knowledge in terms of drafting or practical experience.
" Auto CAD experience and familiarity with dynamic blocks.
" Understanding of construction methods and fabrication processes.
" Strong communication skills.
" Ability to work on your own initiative.
" Good planning and organisational skills.
" Full driving licence.
" Ability to plan and prioritise workloads.
