Hours: [Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 4:00pm]
About the Role:
We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Welder and Fabricator to join our clients team. The ideal candidate will have experience in MIG and TIG welding, with a strong background in reading technical drawings and fabricating a variety of metal components to a high standard. Working in the works and site work .
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on various materials including mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium
- Fabricate components based on engineering drawings and specifications
- Operate a variety of fabrication machinery (press brake, guillotine, grinders, etc.)
- Measure and cut material accurately
- Inspect and test welds for quality and durability
- Maintain tools and equipment in safe working order
- Adhere to health and safety procedures at all times
- Proven experience as a welder/fabricator
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Competency in MIG and TIG welding
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good time management and ability to meet deadlines
- Relevant welding qualifications or certifications preferred
- Forklift licence or crane operation experience
- Experience working in [e.g. heavy industry, marine fabrication, custom builds, etc.]
