About the Role:
We at Pertemps Wolverhampton are currently seeking an experienced plastic moulder to join our Clients in the Wolverhampton area. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in a range of plastic forming techniques and a strong background in working with heated forming processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor machinery for Line Bending, ensuring precision bends along heated strips
- Conduct Sheet Heating to form materials using multiple heated strips
- Perform Dome Blowing techniques using heat and air pressure to form complex domes
- Carry out Vacuum Forming using heated plastic sheets and moulds with negative air pressure
- Apply Drape Forming processes, shaping materials using gravity and heat over moulds
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Perform quality checks and maintain high standards of finish
- Follow all safety protocols and company procedures
Requirements:
- Proven experience in plastic moulding and forming processes
- Skilled in operating relevant machinery and tools
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work to tight tolerances
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
