Job Opportunity: School Caretaker


Location: Wolverhampton
Pay
Rate: £12+ per hour (dependent on experience)

Hours: Split shifts, 7:00 AM - 10:30 AM and 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM (Monday to Friday)



We are seeking a committed Caretaker to join a local school community and help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for our students and staff.





Key Responsibilities:


- Maintenance of Grounds: Ensure the school premises and grounds are well-maintained and presentable

Painting: Perform painting tasks to keep the school looking fresh and well-cared for
- Light Maintenance: Use hand tools to perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks
- Safety Checks: Conduct daily safety checks of the premises to ensure a secure environment.

- Site Management: Open and close the school site daily, ensuring security and safety
- Visitor Interaction: Greet visitors and provide assistance as needed
- Support Staff: Assist domestic staff with their duties when necessary

Alarm Systems: Activate and deactivate alarm systems as required


Requirements:


- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred

Good organizational and time-management skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Basic maintenance skills (painting, use of hand tools, gardening)
