Pipe Welders

Pertemps West Bromwich are currently recruiting for Pipe Welders to join our expanding client based in Oldbury, West Midlands.

As a Pipe Welder, you will be responsible for welding and assembling piping systems for various industrial applications. This role requires a high level of precision and attention to detail to ensure all work meets industry standards.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):
-Perform welding and fitting tasks on pipe such as MIG, TIG and Arc welding
-Read and interpret engineering drawings
-Inspect and prepare materials and equipment prior to welding
-Conduct quality checks on completed welds to ensure they meet specifications and safety standards
-Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations

The Ideal Candidate:
-Must have previous experience as a Pipe Welder
-Proficiency in various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Arc)
-Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings
-Ability to use hand and power tools
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Hours:
0800 - 1630 Monday to Thursday
0800 - 1530 Friday

OR

1900 - 0600 Monday to Thursday

Pay Rate:
£13.99 per hour
For night shift this will be £13.99 per hour plus shift allowance
