We are currently looking for Cleaning Operative Team Leaders in Birmingham Nechells area. The Cleaning Operative Team Leader will be responsible for leading a team in a busy superstore / warehouse. Ensuring high standards as per the companies expectations, the main duties of the role will be to support and help maintain the cleanliness of the shop floor alongside working closely with a team of cleaners in order to achieve this.
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning tasks alongside leading and supporting a team
- Monitor daily paperwork and documentation keeping track of cleaning tasks
- Ensure the safety of the team and abide by all company health and safety guidelines and procedures
- Complete audits of the teams work to look for areas of improvement
- Coach and support the team to deliver the required standards as per the company expectations
Requirements:
- Excellent Leadership skills
- IT Literate, confident using computer systems
- Flexibility due to working varying shifts 5 out of 7 days a week
- Prior experience cleaning and managing a team
- Great time management skills
- Strong attention to detail due to efficiency required to complete assigned duties
Experience:
- Previous leadership experience
- Excellent time management skills
- Knowledge and ability to use Computer systems
- Confidence to lead and motivate a team following the company core values
- Experience cleaning
- Attention to detail and ability to multi-task

The Cleaning Operative Supervisor is paid at £12.99 per hour.
The working hours will change each week due to this role being any 5 days out of 7, the hours will be between 07:00am - 16:00 pm, however flexibility is required. The total hours are 35 per week.
