Pertemps are excited to be recruiting for a leading joinery and woodworking company specialising in high-quality custom doors, cabinetry, and architectural woodwork.  We are seeking a skilled and experienced Joinery Shop Supervisor to join the dynamic and effective team.

Job Description:

As a Joinery Shop Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our joinery shop. Your role will involve managing a team of skilled assemblers and machining operatives, ensuring the production of high-quality products, and maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.

 
Key Responsibilities:

-          Supervise and coordinate the activities of joinery shop personnel, ensuring tasks are completed     efficiently and to a high standard.

-          Plan and schedule work to meet production targets and deadlines.

-          Monitor and maintain quality control throughout the production process.

-          Train, mentor, and evaluate the performance of joinery staff.

-          Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

-          Manage inventory, including ordering materials and supplies as needed.


Requirements:


-          Proven experience as a Joinery Shop Supervisor or similar role.

-          Extensive knowledge of joinery techniques, tools, and materials.

-          Strong leadership and team management skills.

-          Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

-          Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

 
Benefits:

-          Monday to Thursday - 08:00 - 17:00 and Friday 08:00 - 15:15 on a Friday.
