Pertemps are exclusively representing a leading manufacturing business in the heart of Birmingham.

Working as the Maintenance Supervisor you will provide leadership and supervision to our close-knit maintenance team on a permanent, full-time basis. Paying an attractive salary of £50,000 + excellent benefits with an early finish on Friday!

What you’ll be doing:

As our Maintenance Supervisor, you will be taking responsibility for the day-to-day workload of the team.
In this practical role, you will be proactive in all aspects of maintenance activity, including Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), defect and risk management, breakdowns, Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and project engineering work.

You’ll ensure planned preventative maintenance tasks are kept up to date as well as identify opportunities to improve efficiencies and drive continuous improvements.

What you’ll need to bring to the show:

• Proven experience in a maintenance supervisory or similar role.
• A background in a trade profession.
• A proven track record of managing the maintenance of buildings, machinery and equipment, ideally in a manufacturing or automotive environment.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures.
• Familiarity with CMMS software and maintenance best practices.
• The flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and operational needs.
• Knowledge of industrial processes such as casting, rolling, annealing and CNC machining.
• Technical skills and knowledge for electrical, mechanical, automation and building services.
• Qualifications in a relevant technical field (e.g., engineering, maintenance management).

• Working Monday to Thursday 07:30 - 15:30 and Friday 07:30 - 12:30pm 
   A salary of £50,000
