Our client, a well-established civil engineering and groundworks contractor, is seeking a Contracts Manager to join their dynamic team based in Birmingham. With nearly 50 years of industry experience, they are known for delivering high-quality projects across various sectors nationwide.

This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated and methodical professional looking to advance their career in a fast-paced and versatile role.

Key Responsibilities:

• On-site Management: Oversee multiple projects and manage teams during works, including occasional night shifts.
• Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong client connections while identifying opportunities for new work streams.
• Project Documentation: Produce and manage all necessary documentation for ongoing projects.
• Site Visits: Conduct site assessments to capture client requirements and assist with pricing.
• Operational Coordination: Act as a vital link between on-site activities and office operations, ensuring labour, plant, and material needs are met.

About You:

• The ideal candidate will have:
• Previous experience in construction site management.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on their feet.
• A proactive approach to troubleshooting and innovation.
• The drive to contribute to the growth of a business as part of its core team.
• Railway experience (preferred but not essential).
