Quantity Surveyor (Hotels New Builds and Extensions)
Birmingham
£45K - £55K Per annum

Are you an ambitious Quantity Surveyor / Employer’s Agent looking for an exciting new opportunity? Join our growing hotel and leisure team based in Birmingham!

Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in the hotel/leisure industry
- Completed APC or on the path to completion
- Self-motivated with own transport and willingness to travel nationwide
- Ability to work independently and use initiative
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong client-facing skills
- Effective problem-solving skills and innovative thinking
- Team player with minimal supervision
- Flexible and able to prioritize tasks

Responsibilities:
- Manage estimating and cost planning activities
- Apply value management techniques
- Liaise with clients and design teams
- Monitor on-site progress and attend site meetings
- Answer queries and issue variations
- Conduct cost reporting and ensure compliance with client requirements
- Place and coordinate FF&E orders
- Monitor and manage cost variance and contract cash flow
- Ensure timely and accurate applications
- Negotiate and agree on final accounts
- Coordinate successful and timely practical completion

- Flexible working hours (Monday to Thursday: 7.5 hours, Friday: 6.5 hours)
