A highly respected and long-established precision engineering company in Birmingham is looking for a CNC Turner to join their close-knit team. Job Overview
- Programming, setting, and operating Mazak CNC lathes using Mazatrol controls
- Producing precision-turned components for industries such as automotive, aerospace, packaging, and general engineering
- Working from technical drawings to machine to tight tolerances
- Contributing to a clean, well-run, ISO-accredited workshop environment
What We're Looking For:
- Strong background in CNC turning (essential)
- Confident programming with Mazatrol
- Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
- Milling experience is a bonus, but turning is the priority
- A proactive, team-focused approach with a high standard of workmanship
- £17.00 - £20.00 per hour, depending on experience
- Fridays off every week
- Stable, long-term role with an established company
- Clean, well-equipped workshop with modern Mazak machines
- Friendly, down-to-earth team culture
- Overtime available (when needed)
Hours:
- Monday to Wednesday: 6:00am - 4:00pm
- Thursday: 6:00am - 3:00pm
- Friday: OFF - enjoy a 3-day weekend!
