Job Title: Warehouse Shift Manager
Location: Tyseley, Birmingham
Salary: £35,000 per annum
Hours: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM or 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Monday to Friday)
About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Shift Manager to join our team in Tyseley. Reporting to the Warehouse Operations Manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse activities, ensuring smooth and efficient operations across your shift, and leading a team to meet production and dispatch targets.
Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of warehouse staff, including team leaders, pickers, and packers.
• Ensure all orders are accurately picked, packed, and dispatched on time.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment in line with health and safety regulations.
• Conduct regular shift meetings to communicate goals and expectations, as well as gather team feedback.
• Manage shift schedules, including breaks and overtime as needed.
• Monitor and report on shift productivity and KPIs.
• Assist with onboarding and training of new warehouse team members.
• Implement process improvements to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.

About You:

• Proven experience in warehouse management or shift leadership, ideally in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, and health and safety regulations.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team.
• Proficiency with warehouse management systems and other relevant software.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing demands in a dynamic environment.
