The Role

As the Marketing Manager, you will lead high-impact marketing campaigns to elevate the West Midlands' reputation as a prime location for investment. Using a full mix of marketing channels, you will craft compelling narratives, develop engaging content, and curate thought leadership that resonates with key audiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage strategic marketing campaigns to promote the West Midlands’ sector propositions.
• Craft compelling content across thought leadership, web, social media, and collateral.
• Lead the development of event and webinar content, targeting key international markets.
• Oversee the production of high-quality film and photography assets.
• Identify and leverage opportunities to showcase the region’s business strengths and success stories.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure aligned messaging and brand consistency.
• Support business development colleagues in engaging key firms and generating inward investment leads.
• Work with partner organisations to co-create impactful marketing activations.

About You

🔹 Experience in B2B marketing, ideally within place marketing, investment promotion, or a related field.
🔹 Strong content creation skills across multiple platforms, including web, social, and thought leadership.
🔹 Proven ability to develop and deliver high-impact marketing campaigns.
🔹 Experience managing events, webinars, and multimedia content production.
🔹 Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage public and private sector partners.
🔹 Strategic thinker with a results-driven approach and attention to detail.
