Job Description

The Quality Administrator will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. This role involves inputting and managing mill certificates, creating test certificates, managing non-conformities, and conducting internal audits to ensure continuous improvement in quality processes.

Key Responsibilities:


Ensure the QMS is up-to-date and compliant with relevant standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
Update QMS documentation and records as required.
Assist in the development and implementation of quality policies and procedures.
Accurately input mill certificates into the QMS database.
Verify the authenticity and accuracy of mill certificates.
Generate test certificates based on product test results and customer requirements.
Ensure test certificates are accurate, complete, and comply with regulatory standards.
Distribute test certificates to relevant stakeholders in a timely manner.
Record and track non-conformities in the QMS.
Investigate the root cause of non-conformities and collaborate with relevant departments to implement corrective actions.
Ensure non-conformities are resolved and closed out within specified time frames.
Plan and perform internal audits of the QMS to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
Document audit findings and report to management.
Follow up on audit actions to ensure timely resolution of identified issues.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality processes and performance.
Provide training and support to staff on quality-related matters.
Stay updated with industry best practices and regulatory changes.

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a quality assurance role.
Strong understanding of QMS standards and regulatory requirements.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and QMS software.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Certification in quality management (e.g., ISO 9001 Lead Auditor) is advantageous

This is an office based position- working Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5.30pm
