General Manager Salary: £38,000 - £45,000
Location: Near Wolverhampton
Job Type: Permanent, 51 hours per week including Saturday working
I have exclusively partnered with a well-established business with over 30 years of success, in recent years continued to expand due to significant growth. They are a leader in their industry and are seeking a dynamic General Manager to join their senior leadership team.
As the General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in assisting with the operations of the business. You will be a key member of the senior leadership team, driving operational excellence and contributing to the company’s ongoing success. Key Responsibilities:- Supervise all operations, growing sales, marketing, customer service and finance
- Formulate and execute long-term strategies to boost business growth, profitability, and market share
- Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing team, offering guidance and support to ensure their success
- Track and evaluate financial performance, create budgets, and implement cost-saving initiatives
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders
- Discover new business opportunities and explore potential partnerships to broaden the company’s reach
- Ensure that products and services adhere to the highest quality standards and comply with relevant regulations
- Identify and mitigate potential risks to the business, including operational and financial
Requirements:- Previous experience in a similar role is preferable however, candidates that have recently graduated and have practical experience will be considered
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team
- Excellent communication skills
- A degree in Business Management or similar is highly beneficial
- Proven track record of achieving business objectives
- Strong financial acumen
