Job Opportunity: Laser Programmer

Location: Wolverhampton, UK

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Working Hours: Monday to Thursday, 8:45am - 5pm, with an early finish on Fridays


Pertemps are recruiting on behalf of a Wolverhampton based client for a laser Programmer with the opportunity for further professional growth and development within the company.


Key Responsibilities would involve:

Providing accurate timings and quotes for the sales team using relevant software

Create 3D models of parts from customer drawings for use on tube lasers

Ability to convert customer STP files to BPF files

Liaise with the sales team and customers regarding their requirements

Ability to use CAD packages to create 2D drawings and 3D models

Assess and improve previous programs

Strong attention to detail, communication skills and commitment to quality required
