An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Branch Manager to join a well-established and respected company in the electrical wholesale industry. This is a pivotal role, offering both autonomy and responsibility, within a successful and growing business.
We're looking for a dynamic leader who understands the electrical wholesale market and can drive both commercial and operational performance within a busy branch environment.
Role Overview:
As Branch Manager, you will be responsible for the overall success of the branch—leading your team to exceed sales targets, build lasting customer relationships, and ensure smooth, compliant day-to-day operations. Your ability to lead from the front and foster a strong team culture will be key to your success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all branch operations with full accountability for sales, service, and profitability
- Manage and develop a diverse customer base, ensuring outstanding service and support
- Lead, train, and motivate your team to meet and exceed performance targets
- Ensure compliance across purchasing, credit control, stock management, and branch administration
- Monitor KPIs and implement strategies to improve performance and efficiency
- Promote a positive, customer-first culture within the branch
- Proven experience in a Branch Manager or senior leadership role within the electrical wholesale sector
- Strong commercial awareness and a track record of delivering results
- Excellent leadership and team development skills
- Confident decision-maker with strong communication and relationship-building abilities
- Comfortable with managing budgets, KPIs, and operational processes
