Salary: £30,000 Plus Bonus
Hours: Monday - Friday, 40-hour week

Join a leading global access solutions provider, known for innovation and quality in access technologies. We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Field Account Manager to cover the South West region, from Bristol up to Cheltenham, Cardiff, and South Wales. This role is focused on managing existing relationships, identifying opportunities for growth, and helping drive sales across the region.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Development: Develop weekly, monthly, annual, and seasonal sales targets. Examine growth opportunities, improve product priorities, and manage launches, promotions, exclusives, and campaigns to maximize sales.
Customer Visits: Meet customers regularly to ensure products are functioning well, and upsell or cross-sell additional solutions. Provide customers with product support and identify opportunities for additional benefits.
Market Analysis & Competitive Edge: Identify areas for improvement, conduct market analysis, and recognize trends ahead of the curve to offer a competitive advantage and maintain market leadership.
Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through regular interactions. Attend workshops, seminars, and sales events, and host events to showcase the business's product offerings.
Research & Market Awareness: Conduct consistent research on market best practices and trends to ensure the company stays ahead of competitors, driving increased sales and market share.
Skills Required:
Sales Experience: Proven experience in a sales position within a fast-paced and dynamic business environment, ideally in a similar Account Manager or Sales Manager role.
Analytical Skills: Demonstrated experience in evaluating product/market situations, analysing raw data, and transforming insights into actionable strategies. Strong planning and analytical skills are essential.
Communication Skills: Exceptional communication abilities are vital for successful customer interactions and for liaising internally. Must be able to create both visually and verbally engaging reports and presentations.
MS Office Proficiency: Proficiency in MS Word and PowerPoint, used for creating effective presentations and reports for senior management.
Time Management: Ability to manage time effectively across multiple customers and regions, handling schedules, orders, quotations, and report writing efficiently.
Entrepreneurial & Motivated: Self-motivated with a strong entrepreneurial spirit, adaptable to business growth, and able to work comfortably in group settings or independently. Calm under pressure and able to meet tight deadlines.
Sales Planning: Ability to contribute actively to the sales planning process, assisting with setting realistic targets and developing strategies to meet them.
