Job Description

Client Services Advisor (Office-based) - 6-month fixed term contract with a view to turning permanent after 6 months.

The Role

As a Client Services Advisor, you'll be the first point of contact for clients, managing enquiries, processing orders, and ensuring a smooth and professional service from start to finish. This is a varied and fast-paced role where your attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to communicate clearly will make a real difference.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handling client enquiries via phone and email, delivering professional and timely responses.
  • Processing orders, payments, cancellations, and refunds with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Maintaining clear communication with clients throughout the order process.
  • Supporting key account clients and ensuring their requirements are consistently met.
  • Updating and maintaining client records, ensuring information is accurate and up to date.
  • Spotting opportunities to promote products/services and passing relevant leads to the sales team.
  • Taking ownership of issues, resolving them effectively or escalating when necessary.

About You
  • Previous experience in client services, office administration, or customer support.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment.
  • Confident using CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Team-oriented, professional, and aligned with values of collaboration, relationship-building, and continuous improvement.

The Details

Hours: Monday-Thursday, 09:00-17:00 (or 08:30-17:00 with lunch), Friday 09:00-15:00.

Salary: £22,100 - £23,868 (pro rata for duration of contract)
