Main Responsibilities of the Operations Account Manager:- Develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and identify new business opportunities.
- Serve as a main point of contact in all matters related to client concerns and needs.
- Stay on top of accounts, making sure they receive services that are within their budget and meet their needs.
- Maintain accurate client records, keeping track of any contract updates and renewals.
- Address customers’ needs and concerns as quickly and effectively as possible to develop and maintain strong relationships.
- Build and maintain strong and long-lasting client relationships.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery experiences.
- Monitor service performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Analyse client data to anticipate needs and provide tailored recommendations.
Requirements for the Operations Account Manager:- Minimum of 3+ years’ experience managing high end client accounts, specifically within the logistics, transport, or supply chain industry.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities to liaise effectively with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
- Exceptional organisational skills with a keen eye for detail to manage multiple accounts and ensure smooth operations.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, demonstrating a deep understanding of both company services and customer needs.
- Capable of leading and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve operational and client satisfaction goals.
- Ability to think ahead, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement innovative solutions.
- Skilled in analysing challenges, developing practical solutions, and ensuring efficient resolutions for clients.
- Thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, and can adapt to changing priorities with ease.
- Strong ability to connect with diverse teams and clients, fostering trust and collaboration at all levels.
- Familiarity with logistics/transport management systems, CRM platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- This role requires someone who can confidently combine operational expertise with outstanding client service to drive results and ensure the success of key accounts.
