Part time Accounts Assistant/Bookkeeper

Approx. 15/20 hours per week - office based
(Two half days a week)We are seeking a Part time Accounts Assistant to join our company. This would really suit someone that perhaps just wants a few hours of work each week, or someone that wants to top up another part time job.
You will be joining a small team that offers a real family feel in their office. Someone with a down to earth, friendly personality.
The ideal candidate must be proficient in using Sage Accounting Software with previous experience in a similar role, have a good understanding of all round accounts and finance function.
Attention to detail ensuring accuracy and efficiency. You would be required to work both part of the team and on your own initiative, with a good sense of humour and excellent communication skills.
Duties to include:- Assist with Purchase Ledger
- Sales Ledger support - checking and processing invoices
- Occasional credit control duties
- General office admin
- Taking orders over the phone at busy time
About you:- Good attention to detail
- Flexibility to cover holiday and sickness
- Experience in a similar finance role
Hours of work Monday & Thursday 9.30 to 2.30 (5 hours per day)
