Location: Walsall, West Midlands (Travel Required)
Salary: £48,000 per annum

My client: is a leading provider of welding equipment and manufacturers of related products, serving the automotive industry with cutting-edge technology and innovative solutions. They are committed to excellence and are looking for a dynamic individual to join their team as a European Sales Manager due to retirement.

Role Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced European Sales Manager to drive their sales efforts across the UK and Europe.

The ideal candidate: will have a strong engineering background, with specific experience in the automotive industry's body-in-white sector. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills, a proven track record in sales and experience in managing agents across different countries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company targets and expand market presence to sell central products.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the automotive industry.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
• Provide technical expertise and support to customers, ensuring their needs are met.
• Collaborate with the engineering and product development teams to align sales efforts with company goals.
• Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to potential clients.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to stay ahead in the industry.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field. (Desirable)
• Proven experience in sales, preferably within the automotive industry's body-in-white sector.
• Strong technical knowledge of friction welding equipment, applications and related products.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel across Europe. On average once per month.
