Job Description


We are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic sales coordinator who be responsible for the effective day-to-day management of customer requests and meeting of customer expectations. Encompassing internal sales general administration functions and dealing with day-to-day calls and general orders, shipping and invoicing request, maintaining communication between supporting departments and correct use of our operating systems and processes. With over 100 years of heritage in the Black Country, we are an expanding West Midlands manufacturing business and a true global player in our field.

The main duties will be :
  • Dealing with and responding to customer inbound enquiries and general information requests
  •  Customer account management (in collaboration with external sales)
  •  Creating & closing sales quotations
  •  Obtaining supplier pricing and availability for materials & parts
  •  General pricing checks, reviews, and upload procedures
  •  Creating and processing sales orders
  •  Progressing & checking on manufacture process
  •  Continued communication with customer via email & phone
  •  Logging of all activities within the company CRM
  •  Liaising with shipping and exporter services for product shipment
  •  Liaising with External Sales to share customer feedback, challenges & successes
  •  leasing with External Sales to gather correct information to launch new projects on the system
  •  Arranging internal meetings where required to support the smooth transition and progress of orders
  • Assisting accounts with invoicing, commissions, and customer payment queries



The successful candidate will have the following skills:

  •  Demonstrate a readiness to work constructively with others, both within and outside the Internal Sales function
  •  Excellent technical skills on Excel
  •  Excellent phone, written manners, and customer service skills

Benefits
Holiday - 25.5 days holiday, plus bank holidays
Pension - 3% Employer Contribution / 5% Employee Contribution
Hours - Monday - Thursday 8.30am - 5pm, Friday 8.30am-4pm. Flexible working options are also available (after at least 26 weeks' continuous service)
