Job Description
Annual Salary: £30,000 to £32,000
Your responsibilities:
- Operate CNC and Manual Lathes, Millers and Grinders
- Read from engineering drawings
- Change tips and tools for CNC machines
- Use Siemens or Fanuc Controls
- Operate a Forklift Truck to assist with daily duties whilst also enabling tooling to be delivered to production (training can be provided)
- Follow verbal or written instructions and work to set out procedures
- Seek continuous improvement related to the business KPI’s and as part of the team, contribute towards improved performance and the overall improvement of the business.
Person specification:
- Have experience with CNC Turning, based on Siemens or FANUC controls
- Able to read engineering drawings
- Well organised, multi-skilled, self-motivated and professional
- Good timekeeping and attendance
- Responsible for achieving own key objectives, as well as the objectives of the team
- Able to prioritise own workload and work to tight deadlines under pressure
- Computer literate and able to communicate and record information effectively
