Job Description
Annual Salary: £34,000 to £40,000 (DOE)
Weekly Hours: Mon - Fri: 6am - 2pm / 2pm - 10pm rotating shift
Duties of the Maintenance Fitter:
- Sourcing & repairing Power Presses, Rolling Mills and other machines
- MIG Welding and Fabrication
- Read engineering drawings
- Working with 3 phase electrical control systems to include contactor, inverter circuits, Motors, and Safety circuits.
- Fault finding and problem solving
- Planned preventative maintenance to minimise downtime
- Keep an accurate log of all work carried out
Experience & Skills:
- At least 5 years experience Mechanical Fitting or similar environment
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Mechanical Maintenance or equivalent
- 17th or 18th Edition in Electrical
- Willing to learn new skills
- Self-initiative
- Strong communication in a team
