We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Paint Sprayer to join our client. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, spraying, and finishing vehicles to the highest standards, ensuring a flawless and professional finish.
This role requires attention to detail, precision, and experience working in a fast-paced environment.
Annual Salary: £35,000 to £40,000
Key Responsibilities:- Preparing vehicles for painting, including sanding, masking, and priming surfaces.
- Mixing and matching paint to achieve the correct colour and finish.
- Applying paint using spray guns and other industry-standard techniques.
- Carrying out minor repairs such as filling dents and scratches before painting.
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and meets customer expectations.
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment in line with health and safety regulations.
- Using appropriate PPE and following company procedures to ensure safety.
- Inspecting completed work for quality and making necessary touch-ups.
- Keeping up to date with industry trends and techniques to ensure continuous improvement.
Requirements & Skills:- Proven experience as a Vehicle Paint Sprayer in an automotive body shop or similar environment.
- Knowledge of different paint types, application methods, and mixing techniques.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations within a workshop environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Full UK driving licence (preferred but not essential).
- Relevant qualifications in vehicle refinishing (NVQ, IMI, City & Guilds) (desirable but not essential).
