Are you an experienced CNC Sliding Head Programmer looking to join a well-established precision engineering company?
We’re seeking a skilled CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator to join our growing team in Dudley. This is a hands-on role working on sliding head lathes with Fanuc controls, producing high-precision components to exacting customer specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program, set, and operate sliding head CNC machines (Fanuc controls)
- Interpret engineering drawings and work to tight tolerances
- Conduct self-inspection to ensure quality and accuracy
- Work independently with a solid understanding of manufacturing processes
- Report tooling requirements and maintain a clean, organised workspace
- Follow health & safety procedures and contribute to a safe working environment
- Participate in training and development as needed
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience programming and setting sliding head CNC machines
- Strong working knowledge of Fanuc controls
- Ability to read and work from technical drawings
- High attention to detail with a proactive attitude
- Good understanding of precision engineering practices
