Job Description

A leading organisation based in Redditch who have been successful trading for a number of years now are looking to recruit a Sales Administrator to join their busy team.
 
This varied Sales Administrator role will encompass day-to-day administration, answering any price enquires from customers and confirming delivery information. You will have the ability to manage your own workload as you would be responsible for the company’s main email address, along with the development of client relationships by providing exceptional customer service.
 
Working within the Sales Department, the Sales Administrator will ultimately be responsible for managing incoming sales orders; entering them onto the system accurately and preparing despatch notes etc.
 
The successful candidate with have experience working within a client/customer facing role and will have proven administrative skills working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
 
Sales Administrator Key Responsibilities


  • Entering sales orders on the inhouse system.
  • Amending & requesting changes to orders where incorrect prices and other information is required to be altered.
  • Understanding supply and demand system
  • Preparing quotes and proposals.
  • Speaking to customers on the phone re queries, price, delivery of orders
  • Keeping orders and notes filed
  • Working closely with own customers and understanding their needs
 
The successful Sales Administrator will have:-
 


  • Effective time management skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Proven administrative skills working within a fast-paced environment
  • Previous Sales administration or sales order processing skills
  • Strong in building relationships and able to communicate at all levels
  • Team player, and able to work on own initiative
  • Methodical in approach to tasks
  • Approachable individual with a professional manner
