Job Description

Job Title: Buying Assistant
Location: Solihull

Salary: £27,000 - £32,000 depending on experience


My client is passionate about delivering high-quality products to their customers and require a detail-oriented Buying Assistant to join thier dynamic team and support thier buying operations from product selection through to delivery.
Responsibilities
  • Support Buyers in sourcing and selecting new products.
  • Assist in preparing product range reviews and supplier presentations.
  • Maintain accurate product and supplier data in internal systems.
  • Liaise with suppliers to manage order confirmations, deliveries, and samples.
  • Track and report on stock levels, sales trends, and performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including Merchandising, Marketing, and Logistics.
What We’re Looking For
  • Previous experience in a buying or administrative role (retail experience a plus).
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for retail, products, and customer trends.
