The OpportunityWe’re seeking a dedicated Operations Planner to join a lively team in Sheffield, where you’ll play a vital role in ensuring smooth, efficient operations for a leading provider in the UK’s lifting equipment sector. You’ll be at the heart of the mission: keeping factories productive nationwide through the expert coordination of maintenance, repair, and certification services.
The RoleAs an Operations Planner, you’ll be responsible for coordinating planned maintenance, repairs, and breakdown services for clients. Using our planning software, you’ll allocate resources, order necessary parts, and communicate with engineers to ensure every job is handled efficiently and on time. From tracking costs to managing customer records, you’ll have end-to-end oversight of service jobs and take ownership to see them through to completion.
The Ideal CandidateYou’ll have experience in an operations or planning role with a strong customer service focus. Your communication skills will be top-notch, with the ability to work professionally under pressure and manage changing priorities effectively. A strong sense of ownership, confidence in decision-making, and proficiency in Microsoft Office are essential.
