Pay Rate: £13.13 per hour
Working Hours: 8:30am - 4:30pm, Monday to Friday
We are currently seeking a Transport Administrator for an immediate start on a temporary assignment with our client based in Celtic Springs. This is a great opportunity to join a busy and professional transport team, where you’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth operations in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide general administrative support to the transport team
- Process transport-related documentation, including delivery reports and vehicle logs
- Maintain records of driver hours, vehicle maintenance, and transport schedules
- Deal with driver penalty points, speeding fines, and accident reports, ensuring proper documentation and follow-up actions
- Monitor and manage transport-related email communications, responding to queries in a timely manner
- Update and maintain transport-related data in Excel spreadsheets (e.g., driver details, fines, accident reports)
Skills and Experience Required:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel and Word
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Previous office administration experience, ideally in a transport or logistics setting
- Attention to detail, especially when managing penalty points, fines, and accident reports
