Job Description
Location: Crick, Northamptonshire
Pay: £17.20 per hour
Shift Pattern: Mornings – 4 on 4 off
Overtime
- Saturday & Sunday: All hours paid at £25.80
- Weekdays: Overtime applies after 9.6 hours per day at £25.80
We are recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers for ongoing morning work based in Crick. This is a long-term role offering consistent shifts, a modern fleet, and excellent overtime earning potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out Class 1 trunking, store deliveries, or collections
- Complete daily vehicle checks and ensure safe driving practices
- Follow scheduled routes and maintain high on-time performance
- Communicate effectively with transport planners and site teams
- Accurately complete all paperwork and digital PODs
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
- Minimum 12 months Class 1 experience
- Strong understanding of UK road regulations and WTD
- Reliable, professional, and safety-focused
- Regular, ongoing morning work in Crick
- Weekend and weekday overtime paid at £25.80
- Modern, well-maintained vehicles
- Supportive transport and planning team
